The Latinos in Bio Programs Committee is excited to announce its Leadership Development Programs in partnership with the Velocity Advisory Group. The goal of these programs is to propel the next generation of Latino Leaders into positions of power in the Life Sciences and help make our industry more diverse and equitable at all levels. These powerful and impactful programs will support Latino Professionals at all levels:
- Mentorship Program
- C-Suite & Board-Ready Program
Mentorship Program- Annual Summer
Cost: $250/mentee (reimbursed by companies or out-of-pocket)Included in Sponsorships:
- 2: Platinum & Gold Sponsorship

Est. ~40 Mentees Participants:
- Mentees and Mentors to go out to LiB Members in April/May via Constant Contact with Link to Application From
- Mentee Selection Criteria: Associate, Analyst, Manager and Assoc. Dir level
- Mentor Selection Criteria: Senior Director, VP, SVP, President, or C-Suite levels.
- Mentee <> Mentor Match to be done by the LiB Programs Committee
Prelim. Program Design:
- Kick-off: 1-Day: 1-hour Virtual On-Boarding Session with Mentors and Mentees via Zoom Call (July 11, 4-5 pm ET, Virtual)
- Midpoint Check In: August 22, 4-5 pm ET, Virtual
Off-Boarding: 1-Day: 1-hour Virtual - Off Boarding Session with Mentors and Mentees via Zoom Call (October 10, 4-5 pm ET, Virtual)
- One-One Mentee-Mentor Meetings: 12 weeks of Weekly 1-hour Meetings (virtual or in-person)
C-Suite & Board Ready Program
2-Full Days of In-Person Sessions with Seasoned Speakers
- Annual FALL Cohorts
FALL 2024 Cohort - Dates: November 20, 21 & 22, 2024
- Location: Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts
Cost: $1,500/participant* (reimbursed by companies or out-of-pocket)

- 1 Free Participant included in Gold Sponsorships*
- Program cost only. Travel or other expenses will need be covered separately
Est. ~20 Participants:
- Call for Registrations to go out to LiB Members in late August via Constant Contact with a Link to the Application Form
- Selection Criteria: Director, Senior Director, VP, SVP, President, and C-level executive levels
Prelim. Program Design:
- Nov 20 – Day 1: Welcome Dinner Reception
- Nov 21 – Day 2: Morning sessions, lunch, afternoon sessions and networking dinner (Full day)
- Nov 22 – Day 3: Morning sessions, networking lunch and early afternoon sessions, and the Latinos in Bio GALA in the evening (Full day)
- Content will include Keynotes, slide presentations, workshops, fireside chats, and panel discussions
- All participants are invited to the Gala on the evening of November 22nd as a part of their participation in the program (a $200/ticket value)
